Study on violence in schools

Rumour, gossip, insults and disputes over members of the opposite sex have been identified as the major reasons for fighting in schools. That is the conclusion of a report on violence in schools and the community prepared by Director of Youth Affairs, Richard Carter, on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Youth Affairs. The study has revealed that over 28 percent of those interviewed named rumour, gossip and insults as the main cause for these fights while just over 19 percent felt it is mainly due to boys fighting over girls and girls fighting over boys. Of the females interviewed one fifth indicated that the main reason for fights was over the opposite sex compared with just over 14 percent males. Gambling and disputes over money have also been named as other reasons for fighting in schools. On the question of what should be done about the problem of fighting in schools 28 percent of those interviewed suggested suspension, nearly 18 percent counseling and nearly 11 percent called for expulsions, and police or parental involvement.

Firstly, let me apologize for taking a week off... wait, wait wait... i now catch myself... wunna paying me? Schuuuuupes! Government workers does tek what appears to be MANDATORY sick days one behind the next.. i aint nuhbody? I wasn't sick.. but neither are they... don't get me vex yuh..:D

Wunna want a solution? Charge the parents! They are responsible for the yella belly bastards... allowing them to stay up late, come home at 2 am and then rewarding them with new cell phones and the latest games and iPods.. then talkin about how dem aint know how de children get so. I never really understood this suspension thing tho.. you at school, aint learning a pang and getting in nuff trouble, and dem does turn round and send you home to play Game Cube and miss 2 weeks of class. What i does be seeing at all... that's like taking a physically abused child wringing a twig in he back so he can behave better, could never work. Everytime de brats misbehave, make the parents leave work and come up by the school and speak to one of them old teacher s, you know, the ones that does talk real slow and spit nuff golf balls... yeaasss.. yoouuur chiiillld iiisss veerrry troooublled... wheeen iiii wasss smalll....back in my day..... Then when de parent lose out on a days pay and de mother can't buy she little device of pleasure from Material Things, i sure the kid gine straighten up and fly right.

*After reading this post, 832 parents will say dem aint coming up by no school for no child. Case of point, that is why the child so!
