Yes folks, make sure that you get tickets for this regular One Day event where you can see the police in action, step right up.. one day only.. blink and you may miss it. Bare isms... you done know that as dem get move, two days later dem gine setup shop again. Police bout hey are as consistent as the hotdog eating West Indies team. But of course our cops are here simply to harass bajans like a menstral cycle.. once a month. Why don't they do something useful and crack down on illegal immigrants or help an old lady cross the street? Maybe if there weren't so many illegal immigrants running bout, the local vendors could actually find something profitable to do, like make cupboards for the Prime Minister. But the officers gine mek it dem business to stop a poor man from selling 2 grapes pon de corner, you know, to make a dollar send school he children.. (or buy drugs). If a poor man leff a rumshop now, full uh cockspur and gotta leggo a lil wee wee behind a BMW, he gine get drag to de station... but them ain't gine touch de slime balls at Bonita Bar & Restaurant that pouring nasty sewerage on the beach in Bathsheba and raking in thousands of dollars. Yup, one day dem running way de vendors, next day dem buying a bunch of ackees from dem.. and the story goes on. In other equally important news, a cat left some poo in a Swan Street ally. It was subsequently removed by the Sanitation Service.

*After reading this post, 328 persons will say well, if it is illegal, they should be stopped. Sure sure.. dumping is illegal too, but it is easier and more publicized to stop a bunch of vendors we see everyday, than to worry about some dump in St. Andrew.
