Positive ZR music
Ohh.. right right.. ZR men don't lick off positive music because they can't find none to play! It turns their stomach when de school children sitting down on each other and wuking up with dem skirt hold up in the air and de fellas wid dem sausage out. That is why they take the highways and back roads.. they are ashamed of the outside public hearing the filth they play, and they do the cradle in hopes that the CD will fall out and that awful, tormenting music will stop. And by making positive music available, they can NOW fill their vans with flowers and berries and attract the youth.. awww.. how sweet. SCHHUUUUUUPES. This is a bare slap in the face of the law... one minute you can't play music on these vans, next minute they have a dedicated record label. That's like telling your kid don't use drugs, but then you growing your own weed in his bedroom, to make sure he only has access to the good local stuff. BAN de music! I don't want to hear Elephant man pounding in my head! I don't want to hear Sister Marshall pounding in my head! All i want to do is get home without smelling like somebody else armpit and getting my arm squeezed and paralyzed by some greasy woman the size of a pizza... big and ridiculous. People don't listen to local music.. people don't listen to clean music... now that it local AND clean? Cakes burn.A new record label is hoping to reduce some of the vulgarity in songs being produced. Zion Roots Music preferably called ZR Music launched recently and will focus on clean lyrics and solely reggae music. The label has already produced a 16-artiste compilation of which 15 are locals and it is set to be released on April 30 at Reggae on the Hill. Marketing Manager of the Label Anies Jordan says that the music label was not only developed because of the need for conscious vibes, but she believes that there is a lot of local talent that needs exposure. Ms. Jordan who is aware of the attention attached to the name of the label, is hoping that route taxi operators especially ZR drivers, will play more conscious music when on their various journeys.
