School lessons

Funny Barbados News BlogBeing responsible men in society is just one of the important lessons being taught to boys at St. Matthews’s Primary School. It's all part of Boys Experience Week, during which staff and other resource people have been showing and telling them about some of the things they need to know to fulfill their role in society. Acting senior teacher, Eston Lowe, says staff believe the boys of today are the men of tomorrow and this is the background to the week-long activities. Mr. Lowe says the boys at St. Matthews have also been hearing about outstanding Barbadians like Lester Vaughan and have been participating in other activities. So how do the pupils at St. Matthews feel about boy's week? Well they say they are enjoying the experience and some of them are even getting the surprise of their lives.Source: CBC.bb
Well this is good, I think it should become a permanent part of the curriculum. LOL.. The boys reason they got the surprise of their life.. WOW teacher, are you saying that I am NOT supposed to go around getting as much flossy as possible and then neglect the 12 kids I racked up along the way. Gee... I never knew that! But of course if you teach the boys their 'role' and send them out in the real world, dem gine get juck hard! No boh, women these days independent and strong, and dem ain't want the man to play their 'role' cuz then the women would have to play theirs. Dem gine teach that a man, who is in a relationship, is to work and support he family... but gine teach the woman, who in a relationship, that she should do it too... am, who cooking de food? Tell he that he can pursue a career, and she can as well, even earn more money that he does! :) Err.. who washing de clothes? You realize that women want to do what men do, but men have NO interest in returning this favour. My thing is that it is a relationship, team work, and just because both persons have the ABILITY to do something, it doesn't mean that both can do it at the same time. How about the man decide to stay home and cook and clean, and the woman wants to do that as well.... i guess we will all starve or eat clean tea cups for breakfast. That's like having football team with all defenders... you might stop nuff goals, but you can never win. Well women, if you want to be a man, pull out wunna own chairs and OPEN de blasted door yuhself! Uh? Uh? I ain't hear yuh?
