Scare at Sheraton
Dem aint tekking no chances at all this round boh... if a man light a cigarette now dem gine douse he wid a bucket of pee before dem let another fire get out of hand. That said, maybe they are going a bit overboard... calling the fire engine as dem see a puff of smoke... do they not have a ladder and fire extinguisher? Have they learnt nothing? I mean things happen, if you get burn (pardon the pun) the first time around, well heh, i gine feel fuh yuh, but if you allow a fire to rage a second time because you aint invest in the proper equipment, i gine pelt some old wood and 2 breadfruits inside it. Or maybe they did prepare... but instead of stopping by Carters to buy some compressed carbon dioxide, they went little further down and buy some fire insurance from Guardian General... now its time to play the waiting game.. :D. Of course you can't be too careful... if a man did play he showing off, gone up there and de fire burn de lips off he mout and leff he face looking like a roasted marshmellow, yuh woulda hear how he shoulda call the fire truck.A fire scare for a group of workers at the Sheraton Centre in Christ Church. Firemen rushed to the facility around eight o' clock last night, after workers at Natures Greenhouse reported seeing smoke coming from the roof of the building where they were working. Fire officials told CBC news the source of the problem turned out to be an electrical fault with a lighting fixture. No major damage resulted. Sheraton Centre was the scene of a major blaze in December 2004. That fire destroyed about 14 thousand square feet of space and gutted large businesses like DaCostas Mannings and Olympus cinemas.
