Co-education hurting boys, says Arthur

PRIME MINISTER OWEN ARTHUR does not believe in co-education, at least not totally..."I believe strongly that boys should be allowed to develop the personality of boys at least up to the primary level. Not to make himself politically popular eh? Well we all know that 90% of the bajan male population would like nothing better than to be stacked in a confined area with young boys between 9am and 3pm. I guess his party will get the majority of the votes this election. Girls seem to have no problem with co-education, so what does that say? I wonder how girls would do if they were separated from the boys... i suppose they would fail miserably and be doomed to a life of short haircuts and vibrating phones.

But we DO have some all boys schools... do they ever perform better than co-educated schools? Based on his comments, St. Leonards Boys should be spitting out scholarships every year, and all HC boys should be a bit finny... although the latter part of that statement can probably be proven, it is obvious that the first part is not the case. We look for all kinda things to blame. Maybe the pressure on men to perform no longer exists, since women are now so independent and given the same opportunities to excel. The roles are slowly changing and 'equality' is becoming more prevalent. But maybe somewhere waaay in the distant future, probably next week or so, it will go past equality. Next thing the majority of men gine be doing up dem hair and wearing eye liner. Speaking of which, I wonder what school Dee Dee went to. Of course that would mean that masculine men will be spitted on and ridiculed. What? You wearing pants?
