Wow.. Owen really cares for Bajans and will NOT allow bus fares to rise... aww bless him, he has such a kind heart and... wait wait wait... election campaigning start? OOOOOOHHHH,OK! He come wid big tricks, corn beef and biscuits...
How can we honestly in good conscience ever even consider raising bus fares? I hear talk like "it hasn't been raised for x-years"... umm... it has not been improved for x years either. The potholes got in roads, the bus is always breaking down and NEVER on time, van stand smell like an ammonia factory, and yuh does gotta wait long long long before yuh get a proper space or seat... either that, or hang on pon de door in a van that pack way, with a rude conductor who needs a formal introduction to a Mr. Toothbrush and Mrs. Soap. What raise busfares what... just report and fine $1,000 every public transport vehicle which breaks the law. Wid all the money you would rack up man, bus fares gine DROP, and yuh wuh still got lil bit leff back to buy a small island or two... rediculous.

*After reading this post, 23,489 small minded bajans will vote Owen because he said he will not raise bus fares... after which they will enjoy a nice corn beef and biscuit sandwich.
