C'bean must shift focus from survival to prosperity

Senator Lynette EastmondPersons within the Caribbean must move away from a perspective which focuses primarily on a "survival mission", as opposed to a "prosperity mission". "Some of us still see ourselves as survivors only, but not as a people who will actually prosper. The outlook must shift to prosperit;, and in that context, we have to ensure that we are able to balance consumer rights and the ability of our firms to actually produce and compete internationally," noted Senator Lynette Eastmond, Minister of Commerce, Consumer Affairs and Business Development.
