Guyanese are not respected in the region
Dear Editor,
It hurts me to read that Trinidad has said no to 600 Guyanese cane cutters. They are treating Guyanese like trash and they consider Guyanese as trash.
The Barbadians do the same. In Barbados Guyanese are treated like trash. On the small islands too they treat Guyanese like trash.Source: www.Stabroeknews.com
Like trash.. like trash.. like trash... umm. consider extending your vocabulary buddy... i'm sure there are more names you can find to call them. Ahh boy... the saga continues... Now lets do the math... 600 guyanese workers = (600 x 5 Cousins) + (600 x 10 siblings) + (600 x wife, mudda, fadda, uncle and niece)... ILLEGALLY! That adds up to about 15,000 people entering Trinidad... realistically. If there were Jamaicans trying to enter, I'm sure they would get through... just goes to show that most people would prefer to be SHOT than to let a illegal Guyanese in their country. Lets face it, they are not 'bad' people... they just lie, cheat, mislead and worm there way in, and once one of them is in, in comes the calvary... everybody but the dog... i telling lies?(not all do this obviously) They work hard for below the minimum wage, and send all the money back home. Now in a place like England or the US that may work fine, but fragile small island economies need to protect themselves from what seems like leeching parasites. Of course if I could get a couple cupboards built cheap like wuh Owen do...let them thru!
