Bajans complain about Brokeback Mountain
AHAHhahHAhA ah AHAHAHAhAhaaH AHa hah aHA AHAHahHA AHA aHAHAHHAAHAHaaHAHa H aHhAa Ha HAH HAAHhaah HA..So, Brokeback Mountain recently opened in theatres (or, more correctly, a theatre) here in Barbados and the film has, not suprisingly, been subject to criticism and opposition from religious leaders who say that they cannot support the showing of any movie that promotes a lifestyle counter to the word of God....
Further to this controversy, a letter writer to the newspaper complained that the Oprah show featuring the Brokeback Mountain's cast and director, which was broadcast on TV here earlier this month, was "unbelievable, appalling, nauseous, sick, unacceptable, immoral, disgusting" and also "in very bad taste".Source: www.gallimaufry.ws/
