Awards System for Public Sector
Awards? Dem want a hard lash.. let me see what awards can be given...THE TIME HAS COME for Government to develop an awards system for workers in the public sector.
This was suggested by Sir Roy Trotman, General Secretary of the Barbados Workers Union (BWU) on the occasion of the annual Week Of Excellence. Sir Roy said it is the fourth celebration of this special week which he wished would be observed by the whole country.
The aim of the Week Of Excellence is the start of a process by which employers and workers would establish measures to improve the quality of relations in the workplace, enhance efficiency and reduce wastage.
